Return of one bird of prey in nature is great. The release of three at the same time is an exceptional event. Today a Tawny owl, Ural owl and a Buzzard were returned to freedom. They recovered in a renovated Rehabilitation Centre in Rozhanovce, which belongs to the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice. They were saved thanks to the professional team of veterinarians, without early specialist intervention they would have died from their injuries. In Rozhanovce station there is also available a special aviary, where birds of prey can train and strengthen their muscles prior to release.
