The installation of flight diverters in Western and Eastern Slovakia continues - C1.

In Bodza and Lipová there was made marking of new wooden tree stakes in the number of 100 pieces. The ongoing state of planting and the well-being of woody plants were monitored.

Mowing in suslik localities was done. In both cases, the hay did not manage to dry due the rain and was used to create place for reptiles. We intensively feed on both sites.

The exhibition was held in Šahy, where it was visited by 540 children and pupils. All the addressed schools came to see the exhibition. Subsequently, the exhibition moved to Košice, where a ceremonial opening took place on May 16 in the presence of the public, media, representatives of the Ministry of the Environment and project partners. In the metropole of the East, the exhibition was presented in the largest area - with many pictures and bird exhibits.

At the beginning of the May the mission was realized by the representative of the external monitoring team of the project. The European Commission's representative visited the aviator in Bratislava, which was set up by the State Nature Conservation. In the SPA Záhorské Pomoravie was controlled the installation of  artificial nests, distribution of flight diverters and tree planting.

As part of their cooperation with the Danube Parks Connected Program, we have prepared a review of the necessary background for risk management risk management - an analysis of the LIFE Energy methodology and its applicability for Danube Parks purposes. We also participated in their questionnaire evaluating the way to deal with birds and power lines in different countries.
