Proudly presented our work in two days

We just returned – Marek Gális and me. It was a great trip – a business trip :-). We presented the results of our project LIFE Energy to the representative of an external monitoring team of European Union. We were accompanied by two representatives of the Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic.

In Rimavská Sobota we saw the project notice board and the rescue centre of the State Nature Conservancy of SR.

The staff was very nice and continued with us to the next stop.

At Gemerská hôrka we visited the sites with implementation of proper management for suslik.

The proper management is ensured by a special tractor Ferrari.

In Brzotín we also visited the rescue centre with a notice board.

We did not meet any stuff and thus saw everything what was in plan.

Then we continued to Hrhov - another project site where management for suslik is ensured.

Near Turňa nad Bodvou we observed occupied nest boxes and nests installed in the project. Four nest boxes are occupied by a Saker Falcon.

In Wednesday we started at The University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice.

Another stop was the rescue centre in Rozhanovce.

After that we had the opportunity to watch the installation of bird flight diverters to protect birds near Turňa nad Bodvou.

The installation was done by a special tool constructed for this purpose.

After all we visited the rescue centre of the SNC in Nitra with a notice board.

We are grateful to all our colleagues who contributed to these perfect two days.
