Two death nestlings found in nest

Experts from the organization Raptor Protection of Slovakia experienced the shocking discover during the period of ringing the Imperial Eagle, when the nest of this majestic bird of prey found two nestlings that died from starvation. It is very likely that a shortage of food may be the disappearance of one or both parents of the couple. Raptor Protection of Slovakia (RPS) is a professional organization with jurisdiction throughout the country, which for more than 40 years dedicated to improving the living conditions of raptors and owls in the wild. One of the key species for which members of the organization from the outset of focus is the majestic Imperial Eagle. This species is endangered in Slovakia and the status has improved just as the actions of RPS enthusiasts and many projects that support these efforts. Eagle nests in the western and eastern part of Slovakia in the number to 40 pairs.
