6th November 2015, Press Release
In the area of The University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice (UVLF) was today officially installed an information board about the project LIFE Energia. One of the aims of the project is to identify those sections of power lines that are dangerous for birds in terms of collisions and to install flight diverters so that the birds avoid them. UVLF provides treatment and care of injured individuals who are found during mapping electrical lines. Injured individuals receive top-level care in Kosice; a year is treated around 60 protected animals.
