Project LIFE Energy as implemented in thirteen SPAs (Special Protection Areas) in the period of 1st September 2014 - 31st December 2019 and was aimed at protecting the ten priority bird species. Project pages are currently updated only on an occasional basis.

Today was opened the largest Rehabilitation Centre in Košice region. It is located in Rozhanovce and is operated by University of Veterinary Medicine in Košice (UVLF). The Centre was renovated under the project LIFE supply to ensure the best conditions for rescue of injured animals. The main objective of the station is to provide superior care for animals protected by law, and then, if circumstances allow, their release into the wild. In the Centre is available 30 aviaries for at least 30 animal patients at the same time, primarily for birds of different species.
