Project LIFE Energy as implemented in thirteen SPAs (Special Protection Areas) in the period of 1st September 2014 - 31st December 2019 and was aimed at protecting the ten priority bird species. Project pages are currently updated only on an occasional basis.
On the VSD side, the installation of flight diverters on 22 kV and 110 kV lines continued. Installation by ZSD was finished and will continue in 2018.
Several controls took place at the Bodza and Lipová sites, where the planting of the tree was carried out. During October substitute planting was realised.
All project stations provided the necessary care for birds.
All power lines treated by flight diverters are regularly controlled by monitoring of the effectiveness in terms of the D1 activity manual, findings are updated in the database.
On suslik places continued monitoring of individuals and the process of hibernation.
The exhibition in located in the vestibule of the Faculty of Chemistry and Technology at STU in Bratislava city center, where it is open to public.
We published a Press Release on our successes on two Suslik localities. For the media and the public, we have prepared a video about the rescue of the susliks in Slovakia. We recorded 8 media outputs, of which 6 are in online form, 2 in print.
