The results of the mapping are interesting for foreign countries
Written by Lucia Deutschová Tuesday, 01 March 2016 13:10Late last week in Banská Bystrica met partners and collaborating organizations of the project LIFE Energy. At the meeting were presented the latest results of monitoring of power lines in terms of risk to birds. On the dangerous parts of power lines will be installed elements which birds in time notice and fly over the lines. Thanks to a special methodology which was developed and tested by experts from the organization Raptor Protection of Slovakia it manages to reveal the sections really dangerous for birds. As it appears so far, it is dangerous to only one percent of all the lines. The first components will be installed in the spring.
