New aviary raised in Bratislava to keep injured wild animals and those dependent on human aid by any other reason. The aviary is operated by the State Nature Conservancy of the Slovak Republic - Regional Centre Bratislava. New facility for handicapped animals, mostly birds, was built within the LIFE Project Energy. Animal rehabilitation is significant part of the project. Besides the aviary in Bratislava a large rescue centre in operation of the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy Košice was reconstructed in Rozhanovce. Treatment conditions in other rescue centres operated by the State Nature Conservancy of the Slovak Republic were enhanced too.
